A Wayfare to Bhopal(Part II)

image

The best thing about Bhopal is the fact that it is still somewhere between a city and metro city, IMO. Not literally, but figuratively. There is a balance between the amount of urbanisation and preservation of scenic beauty, something you don’t see everywhere.
As of now, there are more lakes in the city than multi-story shopping malls. So long as this ratio remains greater than one, it will be the best city to live in comparatively.

This is part II.You can check out the part I by clicking on the link: Another Great Opportunity(Part I)

A picture from Birla Mandir!

Every moment in this city is a short story for me but selecting one is tough because when I think about bhopal a splendid slide show starts…. from morning entry in Apex Bank to wandering in roads, handful of goblets in hand with spicy masala with Divyani. And we were shocked to see the beautiful girls over there. Ah, girls are so beautiful in Bhopal.

Divyani wanted to take selfie alone, I was able to spoilt her plan.

It was the first time I had a fight with Divyani, we have fought like for 4-5 times for the first time in the new city that too in an angry mode. Literally, it was damn serious!! Though this is what a great relationship is like, it’s not mandatory to match point of view of two individuals. I understand, she couldn’t handle the food which I wanted to eat like a die hard fan, that too of a city which is known for it, that was none other than Bhopal’s Famous Chicken Biriyani of Hakeem Hotel.

When i was trying to push the engine forward! Lol

A random click of Divyani by Me

Anyways, I fought for my right then I went alone towards Hakeem Hotel and ate it, checked out the whole market which is known by New Market. Hahahaha, I won in that fight. There were several more cases on which we fought about. But at the end, after finishing my Biriyani I bought a peanuts for her and apologised by giving her a chocolate( she didn’t even share it with me, huh!)

We also went to the famous Temple called ‘Birla Mandir’

The Culture: Bhopal’s culture is true mixture of different community, there are many festivals people celebrate together, Diwali, Holi, Eid, Gurupurnima and many more, we just love to enjoy in this culture.

image

The Lake: Bhopal had many lakes but now only two major lakes are in good condition upper lake and lower lake, upper lake is heart of the city, whenever people feel happy they go to lake, sad they go to lake, families go to lake, teenagers go to lake, its rain go to lake in simple words Lake is the place we love to go. It’s the one of the God’s masterpiece.

image

The Climate: Climate there in Bhopal is fine, now a days its too hot and too cold in seasons but all over its nice place to live in Bhopal.

image

The People: People in Bhopal are very kind and gentle they will help you out whenever someone in trouble, people are awesome and their language is little different but gentle.

image

The Youngsters: Youngsters are full of two categories The Engineering Student and The Bikers, Wherever you look you will find either the Engineers or Bikers, Boys really like Stunts and Bikes in the city, every boy is having girlfriend back on the seats of their bikes. Lol! Itni taadat me, ahha!! 😜

The Food: I have tried food at many places around the country, but the taste and flavour Bhopal food has no match, we love the road side food, small restaurant’s food and Hakeem’s Chicken Biriyani is just awesome.

Hakeems chain in Bhopal is very famous but only some of them are BEST..!! like MP Nagar’s Hakeem & Bittan Market’s.

WAH WAH Bhopal…

Woh New Market ka sama, woh Brijwasi ki chaat,
Woh Top n Town ki ice cream, Wah usme thi kuch baat.

Woh Milan sweet ki mithai, woh ICH ka dosa,
Woh MP Nagar ki pav bhaji aur Brijwasi ka samosa.

Woh Madiwali Bus ka saffer, woh Piplani ki hawa,
Woh BHEL Park ki raunak aur Saket ka sama.

Woh January ki kadake ki sardi, woh baarishon ke mahiney,
Woh garmi ki chuttiyan, jab chute te they paseeney.

Woh holi ki masti, woh doston ki toli,
Woh diwali ke patakhe aur janmashtmi ki roli.

Woh Jahangirabad ka mahol, Woh Badi Jheel se ati thandi leheren,
Woh Sunday ko Jheel ka nazara, Wah uske kya kehene.

Woh Old Bhopal ki galiyan, aur woh Geetanjali ki ladkiyan.

Mashaallah!!

They speak Bhopali. I went to few famous markets of Bhopal such as New Market, near Hakeem hotel especially to listen to their language.
“Miyan maze aagaye tumse milke” 😝was the last sentence he said to me. Haha😇
