An Unsent Letter to Her

There are so many places I haven’t been,
There are so many books I haven’t read,
There are so many memories I haven’t kept long enough,
There are so many stories I haven’t told,
There are so many justifications I haven’t given her,
There are so many things I haven’t expected from her,
There are so many chapters I haven’t read,
There are so many things I haven’t learnt,
There are so many things I haven’t won,

“Relationships end too soon because the other person stop putting the same effort to keep you as they did to win you once.”

There are so many ways to remember you,
but I’ve truly, surely forgotten you.

We had met for a reason,
either you were a blessing or
a life time lesson.”

  1. True Sumit.
“Relationships end too soon because the other person stop putting the same effort to keep you as they did to win you once.”
    This is accurate.😅😅😅
But you know, the effort should be doubled after you win that person, sadly the reality is contradictory😅
    Anyways,well written.😉😊

    1. That’s the main problem Pratishtha, people are facing these days. Firstly, they want to own the other person whom they ‘love'(I don’t know what type of love is that) anyways, secondly, as time passes, both the persons lose their trust in the relationship(I can say that, because I’m eye witnessed to it)

And it’s not like I saying that all love stories have bad end. I have a best friend, Divyani (you know her 😉) who is in a long term relationship of three years with her boyfriend who stays in US. Still, they love each other like anything. And Pratishtha, as you’ve mentioned above, ‘the efforts should be doubled after you win that person’, it’s true in my best friend’s case. 😊

      1. Achha achha,I’m so glad for Divyani.Long distance relationship,and that too for 3 years.Wow!!😍😍😍
Sumit, every relationship has a different issue,a different problem…But true love surpasses all these problems. If a relationship ends, due to such silly things,I’m glad it ended.True love knows no excuses, right?
In fact, not much effort is required,if the feeling is true.Just care, affection and the longing to be with each other is enough.
Surprises, cute texts, gifts and all are always welcome though😍😉. hehe
Relationships are getting highly complicated though and I’m on a vacation, away from all this for a while.😂😂😂

  3. This is so sad but true, and it should be that the relationship should be stronger after a long time into it because you were suppose to know about each other much closely than before, but it seems that in some relationship its much the opposite, or they realize they had not loved each other from the first place 😦 😦
My thoughts on long distance is that it could be really tough, and at times you do think if it would really work. But if your truly love the person any obstacle such as distance can pass it through (this might be of personal experience 🙂 🙂 ) but i believe that it can truly work on both sides put equal effort. ❤ ❤

    1. You said it right Shri.
It should be stronger with time but due to lack of commitments and trust, both persons are not able to maintain the relationship.

But I really like your biiiiiggggggg comment and your views on relationship Shri😜😉

      1. Haha thanks, I couldn’t help reading over the other comments, and the topic was just a tiny bit close to me, so had to add that little tidbit 🙂 😉
But it is sad that some break apart from such minor issues after knowing each other for so long 😦
But overall if two people are equally supportive of the relationship it can definitely work 🙂 🙂 ❤

      2. Hahah… You know what Shri
Most of the reader of this blog post could connect their self with the title only.

I’m not living any kind of phase right now. But I could understand the feeling, how one feels when he/she has to go through such situations.

Bahut sare logo ko relatable laga yeh 🙂

    1. Yes Manu.. These days being in a relationship is more important than propose a girl/guy.
You have to become as responsible as it needs to be in maintaining any relationship.

Though people are hardly accept that, it’s more about giving than taking.

But thank you so much for always liking my work neighbour 🙂
