One of the main reasons of such bloggers’ Meet-up is to meet other local bloggers in the town to talk about blogging.
Well, this is what WittyFeed has done something for bloggers like me. For us.
WittyFeed aims to be a platform to tell stories, explore and share them with the world out there. They aspire to be the source of healthy and rich information for all those who want to dig deep and want to know everything about a place, person or a famous incident. They want to be a platform where people can come and express themselves and share their experiences.

Mukti Masih, a prolific writer at YourStory has covered this inspiring story of WittyFeed a few months ago.
It’s one of the top charticles viral content site in India right now.
“Success doesn’t come overnight, it has proven now.”
There are lots of bloggers present in Indore, and this is what WittyFeed has analysed and organised this Meet-up called “Bloggers’ Meet-Up by WittyFeed” which was organised yesterday (Sunday, June 26, 2016) at WittyFeed’s headquarter in Indore.
The main motive of this event was to bring all the writers and bloggers and also those youth and people who want to get started. So that we can get together to share stories, talk about blog promotion, how advertisement industry works, monetisation on a blog, platforms such as WordPress, Blogger etc. tips on blogging, tricks, and hacks which are used in it and much more.
And with that let’s not forget to have a couple of drinks with snacks partner Mangosteen, Indore and stationery partner Hoppingo.
In my two cents, one of the biggest reasons is that people are optimistic, and trust that their future selves will be better than their present selves – more active, more motivated, less busy. But this is not how things actually work. People are aware of the things they should do but when it comes to doing that they just back off.
Unfortunately, sometimes they are mistaken. People juggle a lot of things in their life; Meet-ups often get short shrift if something else comes up, despite the person’s original best intentions. They need to figure it out what’s best for them.
Thankfully, WittyFeed’s Meetup has an excellent system in place for purging non-active members.
So basically there were 3 speakers, Jitendra was SEO expert and an active blogger. And the other 2 were from WittyFeed only. Lavanya and Parveen Bhai.
He explained how WittyFeed can make anyone and anything viral. It was a great experience Parveen bhai. :)
Then, this wonderful and soft hearted girl Lavanya, who explained how one can work on the content part. You really helped me in so many ways Lavanya. Thank you! 😀
The biggest thing is that people need to know that they’ll feel welcomed when they go to such events, not just someone standing in the corner of a room feeling awkward and out of place.
Just get out from the corner and meet new people. People like you. People like me. This is what Meet-ups are for. Right?
As soon as I reach there I met, Parveen Singhal, COO of WittyFeed, and ask him the entire schedule for the evening. Well, after that I was just enjoying each and every part of the speech from everyone.
My tip is to interact with new bloggers on a personal level, call them when they join to introduce yourself, add them on Facebook, ask them before heading towards the event. During the event, talk to people as more as possible for you there and make sure you’re introducing them to other people as well. Thanks to Kavita who made me meet the CEO and co-founder of WittyFeed with whom I sat for half an hour, while we talk about so many things, so many topics.
Vinay Bhaiya also asked me to come to their work place, to sit, to work, to have coffee. I can do any kind of work of mine their. Well, I’ll definitely go and will work in such ambience for WittyFeed. 🙂
Meet-ups are for?
If you all already know each other, then perhaps Meet-up is not necessary for you, but if you want to attract other bloggers to meet and do things together, then Meet-up would be worthwhile. And should not miss it ever.
If this is more of a gathering for bloggers to speak about their work and have meaningful conversations (for instance: a talk, panel discussion, conversations)
Is blogging dead?
A lot of “Marketing Gurus” have been assuming that “blogging is dead.” But let me tell you the truth is that it’s not.
Actually, blogging has simply morphed and changed into a much broader category in the picture now. It has become very important for you to choose your platform carefully, where are you starting your blog from and how you start your blog has become very different than what it used to be.
Challenges faced in blogging
The reason why internet marketers say blogging “is dead” is because people are still spending time and energy writing blog posts on their personal website but not getting the organic traffic that they’re used to. Nobody knows what you’re doing and why are you doing. It is because you’re not applying your strategy to make your posts and blogs to reach your people.
If you will not willing to do that then who else ?
There’s nothing wrong with having a blog on a personal website. But the problem is that nobody knows how to drive traffic to their site to read their writing in the first place. Nobody is doing the work to master the art of SEO, or Facebook black posts. Hence, you’ll have to change your way of writing and promoting.
Social networking as a blog
Think about it: Starting a blog has never been easier with Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and Medium.
Social media has become a new version of blogging. Take Twitter for instance. Twitter was known flat out as a microblogging platform. Now people are using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, but again they don’t know how to use it for the promotion of your work. Try to grab that thing. According to me, if you wisely use such networks then it can become your servant, it can also become your bread-butter. The only condition is to use it wisely.
Driving Traffic to your Blog
Whatever has happened over the last decade is that the attention graph, the visualization of where people’s attention is right at this very moment and where can you meet them, is shifting. People’s willingness to jump somewhere to consume content is certainly not down, but their willingness to leave the platform they are already engaging on (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) is. To get them to click out, you have to be smart. Really smart.
So now, I’m going to outline exactly what you need to do to get started and set up your own personal blog.
I’ve already written these tips for you all, thanks to WittyFeed to give me a push to post it now.:D
There are few steps you need to go through in order to set up a blog. If you follow these guidelines, you’ll have your own blog set up in less than 10 minutes.
It’s nowhere near as difficult as setting up a website from scratch because there’s very little technical ability needed here, Especially on WordPress. In fact, there’s no coding required by you. Great news, huh? 😉
The 5 Simple Steps to Starting a Blog:
√ Choose your preferred blog, with easy and catchy domain name.
√ Choose any web hosting for your blog
√ Setting up a blog on your own domain(it’s required)
√ Designing of your blog; customise it accordingly
√ Essential resources for blogging.
Furthermore, I’m going to tell you, as I’ve gained some knowledge since it’s almost been two years of SumitOfficial’s blog.
So again in my two cents, you’ll have to ask these questions to yourself before going further:
1. Who will be your target audience?
2. Who are your role models?
3. What are the Channel Menus?
4. What are you going to be writing about and how can you do this Constantly?
5. What value is the blog going to add? Is the world going to be interested in reading your information?
6. Who would manage the blog?
7. Domain name and hosting. Any research on the name?
8. Technology or platform to use? WordPress, Blogger, Medium
9. What is the objective of your blog?
10. SEO strategy and how it can reach your readers?
11. Did you research to estimate competition of the niche?
If not then you’ll have to think about this now.
I hope, it would be a little help for you. We have a lot of fun meeting and socialising with other bloggers and entrepreneurs. I hope, WittyFeed comes up with such activities every month or two. And I also hope that you (if you’re not from Indore) also initiate Meet-ups like this to your city to rejuvenate the dead poet society. 😉

Aw, this was a very good post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a very good article…
but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never
seem to get nearly anything done.
