Movie Review : Ae Dil Hain Mushkil

Well, the movie is not the conventional Bollywood story but has focused on the complexities of how you can justify your one-sided love for the other person.

Anyone who has got friend-zoned from a girl can understand the pain and relate to it. The main character (Ranbir Kapoor) begs for the love from Alizeh (Anushka) instead of earning it from her. Ayan’s (Ranbir) character is more of stubbornness than the one who accepts the reality.

It has also portrayed that, you can have the divorce with your better half and can intimate with the other person you want. And it revolves around like this- A loves B, B love C, but C loves D, and it goes on and on.

Every actor in the movie plays the role of Cameo from Alia to SRK. There is no one stays till last than Anushka and Ranbir.

Ranbir Kapoor’s role is as similar as we’ve seen him in YJHD, Rockstar, Tamasha, so there is nothing new in it.

Pritam’s music nailed again. The Channa Mereya song can give you goosebumps many times. Stil, the overuse of the retro songs becomes a tad boring.

In a nutshell: The movie nothing does anything extraordinary, but for people who love watching romantics would love it anyway.

Rating- 2.5/5

      1. That’s really great. Even I was wondering the same thing while watching this one in the morning.

Recently, I watched Pink and Udta Punjab last week and it really gave me a lot of views on so many things. So watching a movie which tells you something is worth watching than these romantics. 😅
