I still remember the endearing
noon we’ve spent
under that tree,
over coffee,
listening to those retro hits,
eyes into the eyes,
speaking through constant
smiles than any word
that coffee was full of love.

The best way a girl expresses is through smile and the best way a guy expresses is through eyes. And the best conservations are with a cup of coffee !!
Perfectly expressed by you 😍

Too good. No wonder you are now habitual to silence and you know what it means….

I’ll ask you one question
You’re a pro in English
Where would you rate my English on a scale from 0- 10…
LikeLiked by 1 person
Come on, Rashmi!
I’m not pro in English. You’ll be shocked to know I’ve been in Hindi medium semi-Government school for 9 years of my academics.

I ain’t shocked hearing that. To the letter you wrote to your mom you mentioned therein that it wasn’t feasible for you then to enroll in convent though your mom wanted to….
But over time, you have been reading so many books, you’re a Cosmopolitan now.. dealing with hundreds and more people daily…
You definitely know more than me…
So now rate my skill…

Yes, my journey has been so fluctuating.
1-5th grade- Gujarati Medium
6-8th grade- Hindi Medium
9-10th- English medium with Sanskrit
11-12th grade- PCM
Graduation- Computer science
MBA- Marketing and HR.
I’ve completed my PG at the age of 21. But my passion was beyond academic studies.

This is news to me.
I have been fortunate enough to complete my education in a convent school..
But I screwed it in graduation…
I did B.com and then I did MA.. I don’t have any professional degree.
I am a mess. People think I was wrong to choose MA. But I think differently….

Absolutely not. When I see you now excelling so beautifully being a teacher and a poetess. I guess, this is what you were meant to do.
I love what you do.

But there’s a thing.. I don’t have any professional degree to survive there in a long run.
Teachers need B.ed.. and I don’t want..that degree is pretty cliche..I don’t want that tag on me…
Either you stop me at MA or Allow me to to do something in English…

ENGLISH. That’s your type, Rashmi.
Do something in that. And believe me, if you have a passion you degree won’t even matter.
Nothing to brag, I sit with my colleagues in the office who are University toppers, or people who’ve spent 8-15 lakhs for their MBAs.
And they get shocked to know I’ve done my MBA in hardly Rs 60,000 for 2 years.
And my pay is equal to them. They’re earning to pay the loans now where I sit and chill. 😂

I get you but I always have been in a shelter. I fear something new always. Safest profession for now is teaching. And you know it’s my school, my people guiding me and protecting me. I won’t get a better place than this and earning without degree is a deal in today’s time. They won’t keep me if I ain’t qualified…
Caliber is different but qualification is needed.

But on a genuine note if you ask me I’d give you 9/10.
Suggestion as your genuine reader:
In your every post, you by mistakenly use past particle with its third form.
Example: I didn’t ‘knew’.
Correct one: I didn’t ‘know’.
Baaki toh you’re amazing with your English.

Then you say I take a note….
You know what you’ve identified is something I learnt in my master’s..
I said it wrong there and my professor corrected me…. This very thing 🙄

Haha! Professors are clever. I also had an arrogant professor who’d get crazy if I do not even put a comma in a sentence.
The credit for making me a constant blogger goes to him.
Once upon a time in 2015 when I had attended the first i-5 summit by IIM-Indore and IIT-Indore for 3 days. And when I tried to surprise him by saying what all I’ve learnt there, he didn’t give any fuck about it.
When I said, why don’t you trust me?
He said, do you have it documented?
I was astonished, what do you mean?
He then explained it to me, if you claim to be a blogger then write your experiences for what all you did there and then it might help someone too.
I smiled and wrote one later.
And since then, I never stop putting up my experiences.

He was the most intelligent and an arrogant professor I’ve ever encountered with. Divyani and I were the CRs of the classes. So it was always easy for us to get anything we want because HODs were very much aware about us.
He never gave us any fucks. He’d not even care if we do anything for ourselves until it makes the impact on college.
Although, he left his profession after 6 months his new business but the learnings, I have from him, is for a lifetime now.
