Tonight!

How true is that love where there is less of lust in the eyes of a person, but all he wants to see is a smile which spreads through her tender lips.

How can he see the husky trembling voice of hers, who always wanted to see her happy?

This poem is an amalgamation of all the emotions of love, care, affection, and lust.

I’ll not be talking about the
world with you tonight,
Instead, I’ll make you
feel you’re my entire world.

I’ll not be talking about
the big stuff of the world,
Instead, I’ll be taking care of small
happiness of yours to make you smile.

I’ll not be smooching you tonight,
Instead, I’ll put a gentle
kiss on your forehead tonight.

I’ll not let you sleep on
your pillow tonight,
Instead, I’ll make a pillow
of my arm for you tonight.

I’ll not be having sex with you tonight,
Instead, I’ll wake up awake
all night with me

I’ll not just wish a good night tonight,
Instead, I’ll make you believe that
you mean the world to me tonight.

  1. “वो इतना भोला तो न होगा
    कि जब हम मर जाने की बात करते हैं,
    इतना तो समझता होगा जी
    की हम हद से गुज़र जाने की बात करते हैं.”

  2. Such heart touching amalgamation of love, lust, care and emotions. I don’t think, it can be described any better through any words.
And you did it in such simple words. Loved the post. ❤️😊😊😊😊😇

  4. Sex, if done out of love for the other person, is, I feel, just an extension and expression of love. Nothing taboo or shame worthy in it. But that kind of love, alas, is on the verge of extinction. Too rare to come across that kinda love.

  5. I love this poem💕 reminds me of those special nights of pillow talk…we listen to bachata reminisce on our story and just before the sun wakes; we head out for pancake’s… True companionship, speaking for myself, is it makes his love so irresistible☺💕💝

    1. That’s what I wanted to convey Lavanya. Here, even the sex is not considered because the love is so extreme that it forgets everything and all it wants is the affection.
Thanks so much for you lovely comment, Lavanya. 😘😊

  6. Bonjour

Cette nuit je me suis reposé dans mon lit

Aucun bruit n’est venu me déranger

    j’ai fais un rêve

Et une personne m’a dis de venir te saluer

Alors un énorme BONJOUR Pour la semaine

    Profite bien de celle-ci

    Passe un agréable journée

    Bisous amicaux Bernard

  8. if there is no sex there is no true love. sex is the essence of love. Yes, there are some exceptions are there. I am talking about in a broader sense and in a realistic and scientific manner. beautifully written.

    1. I agree with you Apera. Sex is an essential part of life. A relationship between a two people can’t be completed without sex.

Though, this poem defines the plan for one night where having her in his arms is even more lovable than having sex.

Thanks for your great comment. 😊
