Connections: Invisible threads to the strongest ties

We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection.

Love is not something we give or get; it is something that we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them – we can only love others as much as we love ourselves.
Shame, blame, disrespect, betrayal, and the withholding of affection damage the roots from which love grows. Love can only survive these injuries if they are acknowledged, healed and rare.

Connections

Well, I cannot agree any more than what Brene Brown said. In our lives, we are surrounded by people who plays an important role. We cannot be grateful enough to God for sending them in our lives. I am sure you will agree with this if I ask you to remember someone in your life without whom it might seem difficult to live.

I am not just asking you to remember your lover only, but all those people who have come randomly in your life to make you a person you are today.

I have always been a wanderer when it comes to finding out such mysteries of life though even I know that I can never understand what God has planned for me. For us. If you keenly observe, we always have ups and downs in our life and people are trying to escape from it, but it’s required to understand that if nothing goes up and down then life will be dead. Just like an Electrocardiogram (ECG), if it goes only straight.

How I met Sadhna (And not How I met your mother. LOL!)

I met this girl Sadhna in my tuition classes almost a year ago. When I saw her first out of all 45-50 batchmates, I could feel that this girl has a pure heart. Gradually, we started talking and discussing thing about her work. She works in one of the leading logistic companies in the world. Blue Dart.

We became very good friends with time. I never knew she’d be the same until the end. But Sadhna did.

When She Won My Respect for Her

I could not join the classes this time and lost all the connection with everyone due to my job. A few weeks ago a thought came in my mind to surprise my family members by sending them packets of sweets secretly. Sadhna came to know about this. She asked me to bring the sweets to her office. I said I can’t afford Blue Dart’s services as it is too expensive for me now.

Rs 1000 for just delivery charges while the actual sweets only cost Rs 300. She still forced me to bring it, I went there and she immediately send the parcel that very evening. And she did not even take any money from me. This could be a very little thing a few people, but IT DOES MATTER. As I really appreciate her efforts the way she was handling clients. I was there for almost 3 hours and in those hours my respect for her increased like anything. Not just because she did not charge me anything, but she did teach me a lot of untold lessons of life in those hours.

It is not always about the money, at times we are blessed with people who take us more than anything. Love is what they call it. And when affection is there between two persons, a life-long relationship will grow more and more. Be it a relationship between friends, parents, siblings or lovers.

From that day my respect for Sadhna has increased a lot. A beautiful girl with even a beautiful heart.

A Good News

So here is a good news I got to know on the same day when I went to meet her at her office that she is getting married. Wow! This was my reaction.

To give us, Divyani and me, an invitation we planned to meet at a cafe. In these two hours, all of us laughed, ate, made fun of people and our own selves a lot that neither she nor going to forget those moments ever.

Earlier as I said, we never know who is going to make a benchmark in our life at what time but we should always listen to our inner instincts to find our the right person.

I would love to quote here something which I had written long back-

You know the best thing about life?
It brings people in your life
At the right time,
At the right place.
No matter if it’s bad or good phase,
They will always play their
Roles with their presence.
And even the most beautiful part is
You don’t even have any idea about what’s
Happening and they’ll still play their roles.
