  1. Well, the last line true, once you begin to earn bread, many begin to butter.
See, man, m about to be 18 (still 6 mnths more) and I haven’t experienced a REAL RELATIONSHIP. In my friend circle, it’s just me who is single (lekin vo saare kisi ko b haan krdete h, despo khi k :p haha).
I too miss being in a commitment but jb logo ki baate sunte h toh acha lgta h ki SHUKAR HAI, HUM SINGLE HAI 😛
    Btw, Happy Valentine’s Day ^_^

    1. Haha.. Very true Sanskriti. You’re just 18 (almost) but I love the fact that tum itni maturely iss chiz ko leti ho. You’re going very well. Aur shayad yahi chiz Tumhe apne friend circle Se alag karti hain. I’m so glad and relieved that tonnes of people like me exists in the universe. 🙂

      Happy Valentine’s Day Sanskriti 😀
      Cheers!

  2. Happie Valentine’s Day Sir. 😇
Kya likkha aapne, sooo relatable. I feel exactly like that sometimes. But you’re right, I know how you’re passionate about your career. Ek baar sab settle ho jaye na then ye sab ho hi jayga. Still, all the best. I hope you find her soon. ☺👍👍

      1. Well, I had been Sehwag fan. Ball is there to hit kind. And it takes many trials and errors, because cheesy girls are more complicated than cricket ball. As far as bread is concerned, it too feels tastier with cheese.

      2. In continuity, just keep the pace steady! In my case, girl was MBA-sham BA type. While she blasted like Sehwag and found bread quicker. I watched her from other end slowly stroking like Dravid. Doctorsaab enjoyed one year of free bread! Gender equality rocks!

  3. Yeah been there, done that 😀 But you know what, if you become your own Valentine and love yourself truly and completely and date yourself, take yourself out to movies, enjoy your own presence, and pick yourself up when you are feeling down, you will never feel the loneliness that is tearing you apart from inside sometimes. 😀

    1. You know Nawakshi I always do whatever you mentioned above. Whenever I wanna make myself do something I crave myself of chocolate, ice creams and few more exciting things.

But just now you suggested that I should be like this in all aspects, until I find a nice girl who can be a part of my journey. 🙂

I’m glad to see you came back on my saying, and wanna thank you from the heart for everything 🙂

  4. Trust me dude, Being single has a lot more benefits than being committed at such a young age! You’re what, 21 ? Enjoy your bachelor life!
I’ve known people who are in a relationship at such a young age and fall apart by the time they reach 25.. reason being- They are not the same anymore!🙄
Enjoy the phase you are in … because moments pass away too soon!

    1. Thanks so much Miss for your suggestions.
Yes, even I feel the same for myself. I had been in relationships from the age of 13 to 17. But after 17 I sit back and thought what am I doing with my life! This ain’t my goals. I need to change. And here I’m today. 🙂

Thanks so much for your wonderful advice, I’ll surely keep that in mind. 🙂

  5. I completely agree with what you said. At this stage how much of the world hv we seen…..to get into a relationship now……its kinda too ‘confined’. Maybe someday later you’ll like someone else….. So what about the commitment you made before….. Break it? That’s not fair. So till you are somewhere in life, meet a lot of ppl & then decide. Commitment can’t be just thrown around like hot cakes.
And its really sad that ppl cant think beyond gf bf……..every person you talk to ends up proposing within a few minutes. Just few dam minutes!! Can you believe that. How despo!! Just ruins completely Ernest friendships…….its really sad………why can’t just ppl talk like normal human beings……I hate losing friends like this……at this age I think setting up career is very imp……concentrate on it and things are gonna work out ……as you said, when u hv bread….u’ll get butter as well 😉
And I also agree with the first points you said 😉 About the need to be in a relationship…..keep looking till you find someone who is the soulmate…. made for eachother type of relationship 😉

    1. I’m glad that you’re (I guess we’re of the same age 😉 ) kind of a person who thinks in a same manner.

People have became despo these days, they are under pressure of- what if my friends come to know that I don’t have a girlfriend? I mean, is this thing makes you cool? You’re in a so called relationship just to prove everyone that you can also have. It’s disgusting.

      1. Yeahh these kind of relationships don’t work out in the long term…..and I really don’t like the idea of breaking up and jumping into another relationship……
People don’t gv much value to friendship these days…….I completely agree with what you said, wannabe cool attitude towards this thing is very disgusting!!

      1. I had my first relationship at the age of 13. So you can imagine how much even I’ve faced all these things. 🙂

But it’s time for a real, true love. Where there shouldn’t be any expectations. There should be only one thing which is most the important, Trust!!

      2. Tum toh bahutey phorward nikle. 😀 Hahaha. Kidding. See a relationship is based on many things, and for me mutual respect takes the first place. You were too young back then but hopefully mature now. 😉 And things happen when they are supposed to happen. No sooner, no later.

  6. ha Sumit.. this is a cute post.. reflecting your pains..lol..
Even though you mentioned all the negatives of being single, i am pretty sure that you enjoy your loneliness fully. am I correct..?
and you know it’s a secret pleasure to be untied to anyone till we meet our soulmate. Store your whole love and pass it to the one and only one. And it was my aim and successfully passed the test..:) wish you too good luck my friend..

    1. Haha… Yes yes Akhila, you got it right. This is my pain only. 😉
I enjoyed my loneliness very much, I read lots of books, I do researches, I observe things, I constantly grow doing what I love. Learning something new everyday, which I can not do while being in a relationship. I can assure you for that. Personally experienced.

But yes, I’m waiting for someone who can be a part of my journey while doing what I love. 😀

Thanks so much Akhila, for your sweet wishes. 🙂

      1. She will come soon..just relax 😉
You will meet her all of a sudden. You won’t realise then, that she is going to be your soulmate. but it will happen. But i think you need to wait for few more years 😉 lol

      2. Akhila, when I was reading your comment I remembered all those girls who gradually came into my life and this (what you’ve mentioned, I won’t realise, all of a sudden. Soulmate) is what I used to think. But as time passed on everything started changing.

Aur pata hain, next time jabhi bhi hoga na, fir Se these feelings arises haha

  7. Oh yes, having been single for a while I know exactly what you are talking about, loved your list, especially the various ‘lovers’ days 🙂
but I also bear in mind that after the first hormonal outburst (duration can be anything, from one minute to 6 months) the other becomes human and that’s usually when relationships start to falter (you might not notice in their PDAs 😉 )

    1. But in this period of time, do you think only because if LOVE, girls wants to get into any relationship? For instance, if yes! Then I can assure you that this type of love won’t be sustainable.

      I know Money isn’t everything;
but I’ve never seen food, clothes, cars, homes, or any other nice things that people use, without a price tag on it.

  9. It’s amazing that someone who’s so romantic as you is still single. How? Why? Is this a conscious decision or you just haven’t found the one. And yes I quite relate to how lonely you feel because I was single for quite some time too before I found the One. Take heart. You will. When the time is right

    1. Haha.. it’s a conscious decision Pradita. 😋

As they say, it’s easy to find a partner with whom you can have sex, but it’s hard to find a partner who can get naked with her heart for you. 🤗

Congratulations that you found yours. 😘
And I’ll be waiting for mine to come. 😅😊
