You have fear- don’t ask why; just look into the fear, go into it, watch. Don’t be in a hurry to analyse, to explain, to interpret, because if you bring in your interpretations, your explanations, the purity of the heart will be lost; you will start moulding it into certain patterns, to fit into certain theories. You will start giving it shape and form and labels. You will start distorting it – it will no more be the natural, wild phenomenon that it was. You will start training it, conditioning it, and sooner or later it has to agree with you- it is your fear. It is your shadow; it is bound to agree with you. But you have destroyed a beautiful experience that may have led you into new spaces.
Isn’t it amazing what you have just read above? This is an excerpt from the book The Tongue-Tip Taste of TAO (Osho book).
To be honest, I was not really a follower of his thoughts earlier, but the moment I got to know about Osho by people, I thought of giving it a try and watched his videos on YouTube. And the moment I listened to his perspective I was spellbound. He was definitely not one of them who used to follow the stereotypes, he was bold, he was open about every emotion. He was very open about sexual intercourse, lust, women, fear, life, death, and what not.
I was completely impressed when he opened the curtains for me in my mind, it allowed me to breathe new air with his thoughts, and most importantly which I really felt enthralling about him is his eyes. You will find them inebriated if you look at them intensely.
Anyway, I really loved the above paragraph on fear from the book that I read it thrice. It was so mysterious outlook. And somehow all of us do completely opposite of it if we are heartbroken we’ll go to the bar and drink alcohol if we have any stress, we’ll light up a cigarette and the list goes on and on… but is it the way to find a solution? Okay, forget about the solution, are we even feeling the pain and grief enough? Are we allowing the pain to make us feel why is it there? Are we accepting the sorrow to make us stronger? Unfortunately, we are just running away from it. Aren’t we?
It reminds me of all the people who have seen and felt struggles in their lives and today life has rewarded them name, fame and money. We have a lot of examples from our daily lives; the founder of OYO Rooms was not getting any rooms in the hotel, he wanted to stay somewhere which can provide him basic facilities, anyway, he didn’t get anything, Neither facilities nor hotel. He spent that full night on the road and felt the pain he was suffering through, he was grieved and broken but that is how he thought of starting his own venture and today he is one of the youngest people whose name counts in millionaire.
You see, the pain has to be felt deep down and let it find its own way, and the moment you leave everything on the situation you will find a new treasure in your own self. 🙂

How beautifully it teaches us to face the problem rather than escaping. 😅☺

Absolutely true!! Sooner or later we have to face our problems/ fears. It’s better to face earlier for a calm life.

Yes, and that unnecessary fear doesn’t let us move forward, it is better to face it, fight with it, and move towards. 🙂
