Rohit Dawesar is an author from Indore who is well-known for the nano-tales and short stories that he posts on his website and social media platforms. The Stupid SOMEBODY is his debut book. He is also the co-founder and Director of a food chain named The Urban Gumti (Pumpkin Foodworks Pvt. Ltd.), co-founder, ex-Director at Entrepreneurs Consulting Pvt. Ltd., and owner of X World Engineering and MBA Coaching Institute. Rohit conducts motivational sessions to add value to our society.

The blurb:

My d-d-dream! Umm, my dream is…. That one day, I will be standing outside an auditorium, a packed house a-a-a-auditorium. People there would be waiting to hear me speak. They would be chanting my name. We love R-R-R-Rohit, We love Rohit,” he said, looking into her mesmerizing eyes. After seventeen years, Sherly was standing in his house, holding a copy of his first novel in one hand, and her wedding invitation card in the other. She was getting married in four days. Join Rohit in his journey as he sets off to conquer the greatest obstacle of his life, and how on the way he finds out that his childhood dream was the thread connecting everything happening to him in his life. Will he lose her on this journey of his lifetime?

Plotting:

The Stupid Somebody is an amalgamation of heart wrecking and inspirational novel by friend cum author, Rohit Dawesar with his debut novel. The book gives you a lot of exposure that includes your childhood love, to career and ended up with a matured love.

Dawesar’s book is completely based upon the protagonist who’s name is also Rohit who has a stammering problem yet he comes out as a motivational speaker which itself gives you a thought how the journey of the protagonist was in the book. Sheryl, on the other hand is a girlfriend of Rohit which takes you to a new aspect of love in the book. The author did justice to his debut by understanding the narration and storytelling skills who’s completely new in the writing field.

Also one of the reasons this book is connected to me as I could be a helping hand with my bits and pieces knowledge of writings when the Author was at his initial stage of writing a book.

My Final Verdict—

It’s a gentle though a heart provoking book with a good vocabulary. It’ll tell you exactly how you can cope up with a love life and your career irrespective of any circumstances.
I’d recommend everyone to read this book. 🙂
