2019 Reading Challenge : 10 Books Read

“You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.”

James Baldwin

It’s already a half of the year, and I’m extremely proud of myself for putting efforts for what I really love to do other than writing.

It’s Reading.

Even after working for 11-12 hours a day, I hugely invest my time in building my own imaginative world which will come out soon.

I’ve already finished reading 10 fatty books which I wanted to read ever since forever.

1) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

2) The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

3) And the Mountain Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

4) Inferno by Dan Brown

5) The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald

6) Valkyries by Paulo Coelho

7) Creative Visualisations by Shakti Gawain

8) Me Before You by JoJo Moyes

9) After You by JoJo Moyes

10) The Art of War by Sun Tzu

I’ve also considered this new 2019 challenge to complete (at least, as much as I can, if not the entire list)

Fact: I’ve never been this serious reader ever in my life. I used to write whole day but I’d never read in my free time sitting at home.

But as they say, time teaches you everything with time, I believe, this is what my time looks like. This is just a beginning, I’ve got a lot more to read.

Suggest your favourite book if you have any, and I’d surely give it a read.

    1. Oh wonderful!

Mine too, to be honest. And I love it so much that I have “The Gita for Daily Living” by Eknath Eshwaram’s 3 volumes since 2016 that I’m still on Vol 1.

Not just because I’m lazy to read ’em, but I enjoy implementing them in life. It’s so powerful. Krishna is so powerful.
