“SHOW UP, SHOW UP, SHOW UP, AND AFTER A WHILE THE MUSE SHOWS UP, TOO.”
-ISABEL ALLENDE
It is such a liberating thing where you accept the reality of new ideas which keep on coming in your head and all you have to do is to just jot them down in your words. Not once, twice or for a week but for 600 straight days in a row.

Well, that is what today’s blog is all about, I have completed 600 days of continuous writing every night before going to sleep, no matter I am in a good or bad mood, either I am high on late night parties, or sober watching or reading a book, I would write. I wouldn’t sleep before writing every single night.
Experience:
To be honest, I had never expected this height of being this much consistent on my own ideology to try to write every day. Of course, I had been writing from 2012 to 2015 in my journal in my journals, before I actually created and started writing on SumitOfficial’s Blog but what I had observed as I was really becoming moody unlike others to write some days and then there is nothing at all. I wanted to change that, and hence as I have confessed how I started writing in my journal from January 1, 2018, to till date, I have never stopped.

It feels really great when random people come to me or reach me through social media to tell me how my this habit inspired them to start their own journeys, and that it is really fun to write every day.
A General Calculation of My Writing Schedule:
I have observed that the minimum words I write each day are in the range between 500-1000 words a day. Even if I calculate 750 words per day as average which is equal to 1 Young Adult Indian Novel (75,000-80,000 words/book).
1-day x 750 words
100 days x 750 words = 75,000 words
600 days x 750 words = 4,50,000 words.
Which means till now I have already written 4.5 Lakhs words just in my journal from 2018 to 2019 till now, and my blog posts are excluded in this.

My Inspiration:
Many times, people ask me what do I write every day, or how the idea comes up in my head and all I can ever answer is in the simplest sentence: “I have programmed my mind in a way to catch every other activity I look around myself. And that is more than enough for me to pen down everything at the end of the day.”
“READ, READ, READ. READ EVERYTHING – TRASH, CLASSICS, GOOD AND BAD, AND SEE HOW THEY DO IT. JUST LIKE A CARPENTER WHO WORKS AS AN APPRENTICE AND STUDIES THE MASTER. READ! YOU’LL ABSORB IT. THEN WRITE. IF IT’S GOOD, YOU’LL FIND OUT. IF IT’S NOT, THROW IT OUT OF THE WINDOW.”
