Book Number 8: The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek

Book name: The Infinite Game

Author: Simon Sinek

Book Length: 272 Pages

Time taken to read: January 31- February 2

Genre: Self-Help/Management Skill

Recommended to: Every working professional who is wanting to grow infinitely.

Inspired me to learn about:
It talks about 5 Elements:
1) Just Cause
2) Trusting Team
3) Worthy Rivals
4) Existential Flexibility
5) Courage to Lead

3 takeaways from the book:

1) “Leaders are not responsible for the results, leaders are responsible for the people who are responsible for the results. And the best way to drive performance in an organization is to create an environment in which information can flow freely, mistakes can be highlighted and help can be offered and received.”

2) “When leaders are willing to prioritize trust over performance, performance almost always follows.”

3) “Infinite-minded leaders understand that “best” is not a permanent state. Instead, they strive to be “better.” “Better” suggests a journey of constant improvement and makes us feel like we are being invited to contribute our talents and energies to make progress in that journey.”

My Senior Manager Manpreet Madam & DBM Jay Sir are the truly best example I could imagine while reading this book. You both truly an example of LEADERS. You make people grow. You make us learn. Not forcing us to be the BEST but to make us BETTER everyday. Thank you for giving me the platform to grow and see the heights of Success with your teachings.
