Bond of Promises!

When the heart is filled,
the words come out better.

Under the bond of promises
We hold the hand firmly,
As if dark clouds meet the sky before it rains.

The unfortunate of our past,
Is buried inside and the grief is at rest.

With this, we become insatiable,
For the need of each others’ soul.

  1. Good morning,
You made this promise as strong as possible. I loved those lines
    “The Unfortunate of our past
Is buried inside and the grief is at rest”
These are the strongest bond of your promises. It means a lot when the past left buried and only to care for the future. The shit happens in life will make a person to grieve for long, the heart crave for this kinda promise to vanish the scar of past further. As always you nailed it sumit.Wonderful read, started my day perfectly.
    Have happy day..

    1. Good evening, Mitty.
I wasn’t active since the morning and hence read it now.

What a beautiful and positive approach you just defined here through my poetry. Wow! My major motive was to portray to dig the past where it should be and not to let it affect our present and future.

There are times that we, as humans, take it with us for days, weeks, months, years, and maybe for decades.

That won’t take us anywhere, rather let’s start something new from zero and be grateful for the amazing life we’ve gifted.

      1. Good evening.
Obviously sumit, all should have some ups and down in life.If we dwelled on a past, couldn’t live fully in the present. It will be good to left somethings behind and to look after the future. After all life is not stagnant like pond, it should flows on like a river then only we can feel afresh. That too on relationship the past is unwanted thing.Your words ensure that.
        Hope you’re having peaceful day.

  2. Good afternoon Sumit.✨
I hope you are fine, doing good.

This is so beautiful Sumit. I was really waiting for your next post and see, it’s here. Though I am late, but your post is on time. I loved it all over.
    But these lines…
    The unfortunate of our past,
Is buried inside and the grief is at rest.

The best way to forget the unfortunate past is to build in new memories.
No matter how much you revisit your past, there is nothing new there to see.

    Take care Sumit.✨
    Have a great day ahead.

  3. When you keep the promises you made
    Your friendship will never fade!

This is such a cute poem! What made you think it was an okay attempt?
    Look at the words Sumit,
From beginning to end it’s beautiful ✨

Look how past is thrown in a pit and how the poet’s desire is said to be unsatisfied because he craves for soul that will quench his thirst…

Isn’t it beautiful? Indeed yes! It is

How promises are compared to dark clouds and how it is kept.
Forming bonds is easy, maintaining is difficult.
And the poet here knows how to do that✨

Good work and moreover you still are on a streak with WordPress!
    See you around ✨

    1. I made the promise to to be real,
I posted and then read yours to keep you near.

Did you like it? I was really feeling the incompletion of this prose while posting. You always find a way to see in between the words.

Thank you so much Rashmi, for always encouraging me with your words. With you.
