She wasn’t the same,
As everyone thought.
She was rarely expressive,
Until her secrets were caught.

She was divergent
Even so, sinful though.
Everything was naked,
But I give her the time
To let her feelings show.

She shared her dark secrets,
And asked me to reveal mine.
That night while unbuttoning our bodies,
We, somehow, crossed our lines.

      That’s the only motivation with each one of them. It’s not always about the sex, if we consider that without any passion then it’d be as same as doing other things. But sex? It’s pure. It’s sacred. It’s the flow of spiritual energies. It’s the thread that connects two individual as one.

      Yes, it completely tells about the concern between two partners. Even after they are together doesn’t mean they don’t need to reveal themselves after being naked. To get through the soul is the most important. And you got it so right. Wow.

  13. Hey! I am late but here I am-

    I really liked how in the beginning nothing was revealed about her and then slowly it’s told how is holding secrets within her and how poet gets to know about it.

    I liked the thought behind where it is said I wish to give her time, and wait for her to surrender which shows it’s not just about the poet but the patience he has to wait for beloved.
    And the ending was crispy as always!

      8. That’s the bigger picture, sex and intimacy has less to do with curiosity and excitement and more with energies.

        This is the change I want to have when J say, look at the sex as exchange of energies through your body rather than spoiling it with only physical interactions.

      14. About the spiritual level, when one has an intercourse with another, it’s not only a body but it should be loved with each part of body. As if one is not touching oneself but to worship the body part for being high. Connect yourself when the eyes are closed and it releases the life through you. That’s called as sex to spiritual journey.
