Shambles

I was as hard as rock

But your gentle touch

destroyed my existence

My volcanic rock

Turned molten on my valley.

Your eye sight

Encroaching my body,

And I’m breaking in pieces

And turning into shambles.

  1. Hi sumit,
I got to read this wonderful work in this morning. And this is full of overwhelming love. I enjoyed reading it. These lines
    My volcanic rock
    Turned molten on my valley
    hit my heart hardly.
    Have a good day😊

  2. So much is said in a few lines.
    I truly liked it.

How you always do it, please help me with the same, the similes, the metaphor. Mostly the choice of words. How creatively the poet calls himself a hard Rock and how the touch of beloved is said to be gentle.

    It’s a cute one!
    It has to be saved!

    See you around ✨
