Unapologetically Yours!

This time I had told myself
not to believe in my eyes,
But here you are,
holding my hands,
and letting me come out
of all the bad past and lies.

For compassion, you gotta feel the love
And that’s possible even if you’re blind,
Just thank who always puts effort for you and unapologetically stays in your mind.

In the middle of hundred and
thousands all around
You gotta hold her hands in crowd,
Write your love, grow with her,
believe in love, and the world will
Be better again and proud.

Against all the odds,
you have to hold the hand
and stand with her,
Just ask yourself,
what can she ever expect
more than a little love and care.

  3. I just got lost in the words, Sumit!! so trureeee!! she can be his pillar and strength at the same time.. a little care, love, standing up with her against all odds, proud to be with her, growing with her in life❤️that’s all she wants.. that’s it!! Loved it sooo ssoooo much❤️

    1. She can? She would. That’s a sign of a great woman, I guess.
      A woman is not just to have sex with but she completes a man to make him go, support him, and always be around for him. And the same goes from his end.

      May you find such man, ummm, very soon.

      1. Absolutely!! She would for sure.. that’s what a beautiful relationship is afterall.. I agree Sumit… goes for both of them.. In my words simple and short.. “ I & You together make US” kind of..

        We all enjoy little gestures of love like small gifts or pamperings at times. But apart from the material things, which we can only boast about.. what really makes room in our heart is the love and care of the one you love. Specially when he stands with us in all sitiations 😊 if you ask me personally, i dont really care about the material gifts that my husband gives me..it is the love, care and the sense of protection that he bestows me with. And it is mutual. We both forget to wish on birthdays sometimes, but that doesnt really matter when you know how the other person actually is. How the other one makes you feel. And it is the support that my husband gives me… the strong belief that he will be with me always even when the whole world is against me. Am sure this is the case with most of the ladies..
        but there are men still… who do not understand this 😶 i do not generalise.. there are all kinds of people 😊

        And Sumit.. you said it right when you called us “amazing”’😉

      2. Wow, this really opens up my eyes with your example. I hope and wish that I keep this thing in my mind to become a better boyfriend and to give everything to my girl for how you’ve mentioned already.

    How romantic haa!
    The way it began how beloved holds hand and let me out of a haunted past.

    Beautiful lines, and true as well!

    What was most beautiful was how unapologetically she stays in poet’s mind. You captured it really well!

    The best of all you gotta hold her hands in crowd, write your love, grow with her!
    This was such a beautiful thought!

    And the ending was outstanding, brilliant, amazing and all the synonyms of it. Why because that is exactly what a girl want!
    Nothing else just care and little love!
    And I am sure poet will give her beloved everything!

    I am amazed. I am running out of words to admire and praise your poem today.

    The way you have started the poem…that now I am not going to believe in my eyes but that holding of hand made the poet come out of all the past and lies.
    Wow Sumit. This line is excellent.

    And then the poet holds her hands in a crowd, standing at her side..this line touched me Sumit. This particular part of poetry… taking her side…it has hinged in my brain. I am gonna save this poetry of yours.
