Inspired me to learn about:
So it’s been quite a while that I’ve been reading Self-help books. But this time I wanted to read something new. This story is really new to me where a girl is a science geek and a guy is a bit poetic and very much inward towards the family’s high expectations. Little did they know, Universe had its own way to make them fall in love with each other.
It wasn’t enough last year this Best-Selling book was adapted into a movie too which is already released last year in May-2019.
Here’s a link for the Trailer:
3 takeaways from the book:
“Words shouldn’t be allowed to change meanings. Who decides that the meaning has changed, and when? Is there an in-between time when word means both things. Or a time when the word doesn’t mean anything at all?”
“Life is just a series of dumb decisions and indecisions and coincidences that we choose to ascribe meaning to. School cafeteria out of your favorite pastry today? It must be because the universe is trying to keep you on your diet.. Thanks, Universe! You missed your train? Maybe the train’s going to explode in the tunnel, or Patient Zero for some horrible bird flu (waterfowl, goose, pterodactyl) is on that train, and thanks goodness you weren’t on it after all. Thanks, Universe! No one bothers to follow up with destiny, though. The cafeteria just forgot there was another bow in the back, and you got a slice of cake from your friend anyway. You fumed while waiting for another train, but one came along eventually. No one died on the train you missed. No one so much as sneezed. We tell ourselves there are reasons for the things that happen, but we’re just telling ourselves stories. We make them up. They don’t mean anything.”
“Love always changes everything.”

Hey Sumit!
How you doing?
Let me tell you then, this book I have read last month and have watched the movie too. But, the book is better than the movie.
And that’s so true that life is just a series of dumb decisions and coincidences that we choose to ascribe meaning to.
Take care Sumit.
I hope you are absolutely fine.

Thank you Kumar for the revert to her.
But she’s so special that no matter how much I get busy, I’d always find a time for her.

Hey, Anushka!
Seeing you again is like I’ve revisited my home after a long tour.
I’m doing quite busy this month and as I’ve promised not to post a love/erotica this month, my consistency of posting is less. I only post the reviews.
And correctly said, we’re just growing with our mistakes. Everyday.
You’re being missed. Really.

I can’t tell you how I’m feeling after seeing your reply. It feels like ages since we have talked.
I know you have dedicated this month in posting book reviews.
Let me tell you I’m really missing your poems. But, that doesn’t mean I’m saying you to stop posting book reviews. I know you have set a target for yourself and I know you’ll complete this super soon.
You’re too being missed.
Take care.

That’s also important nah! It’s not always important for a human being to keep the schedule busy. Being a lazy ass is also a mood. And no day can be a day than a Sunday. Hain na?
About me? I’m just doing some official work and after that I’ll be posting the 21st review here. And honestly, talking with you all here after a long. I’m enjoying the old songs beside my window right now.

21st review, post it soon. I’m waiting. With every book review you add on another book to my booklist.
And same here Sumit, talking to you feels like, I’m talking to an old friend whom I was really missing.
What if I tell you, I’m too listening to some old songs right now. Same pinch Sumit!

I really enjoyed this book. It brought new insights into what it could mean to live as an immigrant while also being a story of young love. Thanks for sharing.

It somehow reminded me of The Fault in our Star’s story. I loved it too.
