A very good morning Sumit!
You know as always I read it raat mai hi, but due to low internet speed couldn’t hear the audio and abhi I have good speed toh I don’t have my earphones around. I am gonna hear it soon.
But this poem my God is so beautiful. You’re a genius Man, you can write Hindi also so well haa!
It does portray all raw emotions of someone who has to leave home.
I can understand how difficult it must have got when you first decide to leave the place where you are born and brought up.
Missing home?

Good morning, Rashmi!
Thank you for your lovely words. But the essence is not in the words, I would wait for you to listen to the recital.
Also, I’m not missing home as you know I don’t really remember things. But I do remember how I must have felt while writing this poem. Often, we feel this way.

You know what happened, while I was writing a comment on your blog, principal stood right behind me and I did not notice her.
She just gave me a look and I was like exam is going on…
I was so lost in commenting I did not notice her.
I just came back and I have earphones around I’ll just listen and revert.
I am excited for same. See you!

I was so scared at first but then I was like why should I be scared, we were free that time. Exams are being conducted on their own. I cannot stare the screen for 30 min. For no reason. Better I do something.
She too knew I wasn’t bound by any work that time. I was free only

I’ve shared a few ones in English and I guess one more about A love story in Delhi in Hindi.

If you get to listen to anything in my voice, what would it be?
A storytelling, poem, or something else?

I wanna hear all of them first, and then only decide. You voice is so sweet type, that innocent one. Really calming.

Hahah! Sure thing. You listen to all of them, and then decide one.
How did you imagine my voice to be on the first place?

I thought it would be umm, i cant explain that. I didnt expect this soft, sweet, innocent voice, at all!

You should yet not judge it before listening to others. You might not find all of them the same. You see!

I’d want to read though. I saw you had one from Murakami. I love reading Murakami. Somewhere i feel like i can reach to his mind as well, like whatever he had thought while writing.

Damn! He’s crazy. I’ve been a crazy reader of his work. Did you see how he depicts sex? Every time he makes you think about everything happening on the bed.
His surrealism is damn good. He’d let you talk to the cats, he’d run and tell you what inspired him to write. He’d talk about bookstores and premature sex. He’s a mystery, Shree.
I read his trilogy of 1300 pages book in 10 days of time last year. He’s just crazy. Murakami is one of my favorite authors.

Mine too. Though i havent read all of his, i really like the way he expresses and instills things in the reader’s mind. I read Norwegian wood as his first, and the way he had explained the scenario got me crazy.
I was like, he is so good at it. It is just a paragraph from this huge novel and oh my god all paragraphs like this?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh yes! I’ve read Norwegian woods too.
He’s absolutely amazing with the way he makes it feel so personal.
Here’s what I had to say about it last year:

I’ve been a great fan of Murakami. He reflects my thoughts when I read them, what I write about sex, our understanding of observation matches almost every time.
*Reflects my thoughts* even i used to synchronize with him. Damn.

BTW, aren’t we discovering ourselves as if both of us are reading the pages of our likes, dislikes, and comparing it for how they vibe together?

I’m astonished too for how it’s going like this. But I’m happy too.

Also, just to make you believe- I don’t just read him by flipping pages, rather I make sure to highlight, put up a note, and write my stuff on it while exploring his work.

Thats exactly how to read Murakami.

Yes. He’s not a normal writer to read and get it done.
You read him, keep looking at the wall, think about it, get lost, come back to life, and read it again.

Wow, i can actually see life in what you say. I do that quite oftennn.

Go for it:
The App is called AnyBooks, it became so popular on Playstore that they started monetizing it so PlayStore dragged it down. So it won’t be available there. But don’t worry, here’s the hack, download the .apk from here and enjoy:
