“Sometimes you need a second chance, because time wasn’t ready for the first time.” How satisfying these words are, aren’t they?
We often think that we should get everything on the very first go, but little did we understand, that it was not the best for you. Not the time, not the goal, not even anything.
Losing something on the first go may break you a little, but till now, whatever I’ve got on the second go, it lasted forever. So I let go of what’s not mine, and wait for what going to come.
We, on the other hand, also restrict ourselves many a times, by keeping grudges about why you didn’t get for the first time. I was again one of them, until I realized someone’s huge presence from within that made me believe, just keep calm, it’s on the way.
It reminds me of my little unachievable task which I had got in the month of November-2020 to January-2021 where I was given a team of people as proposed team leadership.
I realize my great potential about being a responsible employee, one of the highest business generators executive, and someone who understands people we’ll to convince them to meet the goal. But… But here’s the twist. I failed.
It took me awhile to accept the fact that how Sumit can fail in this. But then a few incidences happened that gave me an overlook to work upon something I didn’t. I found my second chance there. For my improvement, that led my betterment.
We may not have everything in our hands today,
Maybe that’s how is the circumstance
But I learnt to stand by my own after falling,
That’s how my Krishna gave me a second chance.
•
The faith on me that I shall try,
Without carrying any grief and pain,
To change my perspective about life,
I’ve got hands of my people to pull me again.
•
So let me just be grateful for the
Generous learnings,
It’s nothing but the blessings
Which I’ve got from sharing.
•
The second chance is nothing but doing something in another way,
I’ve lost many things in this life,
But always got more than
what I lost each day.

Second chance itself gives a chance,
But the courage we used in first and the confidence we had in first chance is incomparable 😌😌

The last 2 lines say it all. It’s not easy to let go. The failure stays with you and you need to learn to leave with it.

I just read it and Yes, as you gave me the glimse already, I can see all the people thinking of whom you wrote this piece.
Concluding stanza says it all really well. Especially the last two lines. Also I liked the part where it’s said, there are people who pull me back when I fall.
Also, it’s really important to accept failure without feeling bad about it, afterall that’s how we learn and grow. And you did grow post that, you didn’t just perform 100% rather 120%. Such a proud thing, isn’t it!

Sirrrr, I really love your thought process that if something is taken away from us, it only means that it wasn’t meant for us and what is meant for us will always reach us when the time is right. Makes me feel so relieved from within. 😃 Beautifully expressed.

I absolutely love your perception about things.
We all fail at one thing or another, but as you say “grateful for generous learnings.”

Thank you, Shree. I’ve realized until and unless we don’t accept our flaws, and learn out of it, it will keep happening with us.
