Inbound Love

Love can’t just be a word, can it be?

I always thought and wrote a lot about love,
but little did I know it wasn’t a love.

It takes time of its own,
When night takes its time for the dawn

It comes without even a knock
And that immense pain is
now being undocked.

The hollowness inside the bone
Isn’t any empty anymore.
It’s filled with compassion more than before.

And finally, it sings a song
Without any lyrics,
The buzzing goes around
And that makes you feel
the love inbound.

  1. I so loved how you said the hollowness in our bones is filled with compassion when we’re in love. What a beautiful thought. Indeed, love isn’t just a word. I always believe that actions speak louder than words. So, it doesn’t matter whether we say I love you to our loved ones, just showing it to them through our actions is what matters, haina? ♥️ This is beautifully crafted, Sirr.
